A native of Georgia and an Army Veteran, Kristy Hammond received her AA from Valencia with a
focus in paralegal studies in 2005. As of August 8, 2009, Kristy received her BS in Criminal Justice and
a minor in Legal Studies from UCF. She plans to attend Law School in the fall of 2010.

Beginning her paralegal career for the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, Kristy gained
the knowledge that set the foundation for building her legal career. Witnessing many people be turned
down for legal aid, but still not be able to afford an attorney. This is the reason for one day wanting to
create a paralegal service company, which will one day turn into a family law practice. The intention is to
do justice to the party seeking legal services and have fair prices in a difficult economy.

Kristy’s paralegal background experience includes working in several different legal aspects of the
judicial system: Family, Probate, Workers Compensation, Social Security, Wills, Local City Government,
and Personal Injury. She was successful in appealing and having overturned a custody order entered by
the lower Court (828 So.2d 476, Oct. 18, 2002) and has successfully obtained the divorce and custody of
two minor children for a single father.
